Abdelkabir Kamili is an Assistant Professor at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University.

He holds a PhD in Economic and Social Sciences Applied to Agriculture from the Agronomic and Veterinary Institute - Hassan II. He also holds a Master of Science in Economics and Fisheries Management from the University of Barcelona and a State Engineer Diploma in Rural Economics from the National School of Agriculture in Meknes. He oversees four courses: National accounting and macroeconomic aggregates; International economics; International trade and Global public goods and international aid.

His areas of expertise include bioeconomic modeling, computable general equilibrium economic modeling, value chain analysis. He worked for 18 years at the National Institute for Fisheries Research as a fisheries economist. As such, he participated in national and international projects and represented Morocco in the “Socio-economy and Trade” working group of the Canary Current Large Marine Ecosystem project (FAO).
